How to Find Mimicron & the Tipping Point Bunker in Borderlands 4
Tipping Point Bunker Walkthrough
Mimicron can be found within the Tipping Point Bunker, which is found in the southeast region of Idolator’s Noose in the Fadefields. Once you’re at the front door of the Tipping Point Bunker, you’ll notice that it’s locked up tight. To make things easier, check out the video below that details a full walkthrough, but below that, there’s descriptive text you can follow along:
To open it, turn around so that your back is facing the Bunker door, and then take a sharp right, where you’ll find a giant fan that you can enter. Take a right from within this fan to find a ladder, where you can climb up to grab a Locust Canister, then drop down the hole in the floor to throw it at the Bunker door to open the Tipping Point Order Bunker for good. Once inside, you’ll need to activate some buttons to unlock the deeper parts of the Bunker through batteries, with the first being on the left of the conveyor belt. You’ll eventually reach an elevator shaft, where you’ll need to mantle on top of the elevator instead of going inside, then you can climb the walls to get to Mimicron.

Mimicron features 3 Legendary weapons that players can farm, and we highly recommend Complex Root for players who enjoy using Sniper Rifles, and Luty Madlad for those who like SMGs. Complex Root is an effective Sniper for mobbing, as each shot fires an additional projectile to keep pressure on enemies. Meanwhile, Luty Madlad has an absurdly high fire rate, and it both overheats and cools down quickly to ensure you can keep firing without delay.
Mimicron is an Order bot that will only use melee attacks, so it will continuously try to rush you and slash you with a spear. However, Mimicron’s gimmick is that this bot will always be invisible when it’s not trying to hit you, so you’ll need a keen eye to spot it. Mimicron will also periodically duplicate itself, and these melee-focused bots will always have a Shield health bar, so use a Shock weapon to deal with them quickly. Explosive weapons are great for Mimicron, as are Elemental Damage Types, as they will tick damage showing numbers wherever Mimicron is. Mimicron’s first health bar is Shield, so use Shock, and his second is Armor, so use Cryo/Corrosive.
